Outstanding movie that's like a play -- because it IS the play by August Wilson, adapted. Everything happens in a few small sets. The drama is deep, the dialogue riveting, so bigger sets are not needed. This passionate play puts you right into that time (1927) and place (Chicago) that were rife with racism. So it's relevant to today, nearly 100 years later. Magnificent acting by Chadwick Boseman and Viola Davis.
