This book was a really easy read, and it was kind of disappointing. SPOILERS: The author never developed on the fact that Simon was depressed and suicidal until Addy went to Janae’s house, and it would have made for so much of a better twist if Maeve was the killer. She had motive, she would have insight into everything because of Bronwyn, AND she had computer hacking knowledge so she wouldn’t get caught typing the messages. I really thought that the plot twist everyone was talking about was going to be that Maeve killed Simon, but when the author made it a suicide covered up by Jake and Janae, it was just boring. Maybe I’m just picky, or this book isn’t sophisticated enough for me. But it was filled with clichés and it just wasn’t that good. Still worth reading though, I just need to find more sophisticated books.
