Applying episodic comic book stories to a 2 hour epic movie might have worked better if the same standards were applied to screen writing as to cinematography and CGI. This is a stunning, technical masterpiece brim full of spectacular visuals and action but the character contradictions are way too implausible for cinema audiences and instant gratification scenes are not enough to keep you coming back IMHO. So if you can switch off, ignore the familiar clichés and just go with the action, fine. BTW.There were kids as young as 6 watching this and I found some of the violence a bit much.
