Gotham is very gothic and atmospheric. The movie is beautifully shot. Matt Reeves again shows us that he is a top tier director. It is a gritty and interesting detective story. Pattinson kills it as Vengeance, The Night, The Batman. The supporting cast does an amazing job. The Batmobile... just... WOW! The best big scren Batman experience I've ever had. While I think The Dark Knight is a better film in general, I think The Batman is a better BATMAN movie. That says a lot for me, personally.

As a mega fan of the games and as someone halfway through the books, all I can say is YES!!! Season 2 please! I had a great time with this show. The characters are cast perfectly for the most part, the sword play is some of the best I've seen on TV, had good world building, and it was very easy to get invested in the story and these versions of great characters. It's a great thing to watch for anyone who still has that nasty GOT Season 8 taste in their mouths.
