18 years ago, I watched it for the first time, I cried. 18 years later, pulling up enough courage, I watched again since it is such a beautiful piece of cinema, I cried again..

Wonderful, the plot of each story and the whole thing is very well planned and executed. Having watched detective stuffs since the early Miss Marple, David Suchet's Poirot, Inspector Morse and later Inspector George Gently, Endeavour, I was not quite into this at first, but after two episodes, I can't have enough of it.
