Honestly, I feel this TV show really helps you empathize both with people wrongfully convicted of crimes and people that are given the death sentence. Rectify was an extremely poignant show that leaves you with a feeling of less trust in the justice system but also shows how we, as a society, perpetuate and reinforce these faulty mindsets. Honestly, it switched my entire mindset on people being sentenced to death and the psychological suffering experienced in solitary confinement.
