Not sure who felt so confident to put 3 to 5 stars. It seems that who wrote the script tried to collect all the stereotypes about France and French people, put a shiny bow on it and released. It might work for some audiences/countries but not necessarily for those countries where people can easily experience the real deal.
It's intended for those that do not know Paris unless they have seen it on screen.
Paris is fantastic, one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Yet not everyone looks like a model (I wish), it's practically impossible to go around with those clothes and stilettos without risking to break your heels. Also French appreciate when you speak their language, and they will never be keen - and rarely find it charming - when someone ostentatiously does not even make an effort to speak French. 4/5 stars seem quite rich.
