An "Art" movie. Detail is wonderful but not historic. There is no chemical warfare or its accoutrements, no gas masks; hence, "Art." German rifle shooters couldn't hit a bull in the ass at five paces. Construction detail of trenches was the "best." Two hours passed very fast...entertaining.
