This series was ridiculously and unnecessarily long due to repetitive flashbacks. Some flashbacks are necessary for plot and character development, but this was ridiculous. Main Female Lead was introduced to be strong and fierce as a child into her teenage years, but immediately turned into a weak pathetic pushover upon entering college. There were too many Out Of Character (OOC) moments for me to fully submerge myself into the story line. There was a constant lack of communication between the characters (especially the main "siblings" who have always been able to communicate) that made this supposedly RL scenario extremely UNreal and too much to bear. Grown people getting bullied and not responding appropriately to those situations was constant and repetitive. It was just ridiculous. I gave it 3 stars because the actors did a great job with the script they were provided...regardless of how ridiculous it was. Series based off of a Chinese novel: "Liang Sheng, Can We Not Be Sad" by Le Xiaomi. I hope it was better than the show.
