The movie’s plot had so many holes and the characterization bastardized the original characters of Mulan so much that it made the movie feel like a high budget fetish film. The action was laughably cgi’ed in and it was clear that either the actress didn’t know any martial arts or action choreography or the action choreographer saw a 1960’s western movie’s fight scenes and declared it to be the epitome of fight choreography. The only thing preventing this from getting a 1 was the beauty of the sweeping shots of the setting. But a beautiful setting does not a good movie make.
