It made no sense. What's with the bugs? Why did the water turn black in the bath? How were the teens and the tunnel linked at all? And that eye? Everything's just out of place. Terrible ending Here's a summary: obvious spoiler alert It's starts off with a fightin a bar. A guy is wounded badly and has a hole in his face. He refuses to have treatment and stays in bed (He lives upstairs of the bar). Will finds a phone that some teens dropped when they were spooked by the fight. Since finding it, the teens stalk him. On that phone, Will finds gory images that involved bugs. Carrie, Will's girlfriend, repeatedly tells him to take it to the police but he puts it off. Finally on his way to the police station he has an hallucination and throws the phone out the window. He sees bugs all over himself, stops the car and lies on the sidewalk where people film his disrespectfully. He sees the teen stalking him, steal the phone, drive away and he didn't have time to catch them. He decides to go to the police station where he had no evidence or lisense plate so it was useless at that point. Here, I think, he keeps picturing a piece of flesh with an eye in. He sees it multiple times until the end The bugs at his and Carries apartment increase and when Will arrives home he finds her looking deadly into the screen where she sees a tunnel (movie thumbnail). He shuts the computer off and she's awake and very confused. This happens again but she soaked herself so he bathed her as she was helpless. However, she sinks into the bath and the water turns black. She then gets out and goes to bed. Will goes to work the next day and is much more aggressive. (Major spoiler alert here.) He almost starts a fight. He leaves the bar very aggressively and heads up to see the wounded man from the start. He's there to receive a present which was the missing phone. On the phone a text reads 'Have you had your present? Surrounded in flesh?' Will's is a psychopath at this point and threatens to kill the wounded man. The apartment is covered in bugs. Will then widely opens his mouth above the man who lays in bed and the wound opens up and you see the tunnel that Carrie was staring into before. Out of that tunnel comes the eye covered in flesh that Will kept seeing which didn't make sense to me. That's where the movie ended
