After watching Jailer will anyone say it's from the same director who directed one of the worst film in Vijay's career, Beast? The credit goes to the Jailer. விஜய் க்கு பீஸ்ட் ரஜினி க்கு ஜெயிலர் நெல்சன் வேற லெவல்

Based on the positive reviews I was very much excited to view the movie & could not wait to watch it! But through out the first half I can't stop thinking why the present generation directors think people are intelligent & would understand the scenes. The scenes are all fast moving & before we try to grasp the situation the next scene come & so on. Is it (fast editing) a tactic to keep the audience in confused state of mind? Even in the second half where it's supposed to unravel the disoriented scenes of the first half, the confusion multiplies. Overall while normally you watch a kamal movie two times ( to understand it) it will take atleast two or three times to watch Vikram to understand. Some of the logical mistakes are 1) Kamal was upset when there was big crying noise when people came to his house on hearing his son's death. Due to the medical condition of his grandson kamal wanted to stop this noise. How he does that? He breaks one big item which breaks with considerable force & when people saw him he pleads them to leave!. 2) During the climax fight kamal was with his grandson & he just like that start using all kinds of weapons inside the container. I wonder how the child was coping with this noise. 3) Fagat ask kamal for his forgiveness saying that he was responsible for exposing him & his grandson to the villains & asks kamal to safeguard the child. How conveniently he forgets his wife who was also under grave danger due to his actions. 4) When kamal visits the redlight area we were told that his purpose there was to put some gadget to hear the conversation between the people who are government officials. How he came to know this information ( to know these people & where they would go to converse) god only knows. 5) When his daughter in law was trapped inside the secret room kamal says that the room would unlock with the eyes of the servant maid who was dead & that he ask her to wait there safely till he sent his reinforcements. Don't he thinks the villians can also do the same thing (open the door by force) & kill her? How can he leave her like that but takes her son only with him?

I watched today. I hoped to watch a movie similar to moondru mugam. But my experience is like planning to go to a five star hotel but could only go to a road side dhaba.

I don't understand about so much negative comments here. It is a thrilling movie with many twists as one can expect from the director of Ko & Ayan. If at all any thing negative I can say it's its fast editing.
