Okay i’ve only played a couple assassins creed games so take my review with a grain of salt... do i think it’s a bad game? absolutely not. the thing i keep thinking over and over again is that a triple A game especially in 2020 should be way better than this. i’ve only played about 11 hours so far and i’m definetly having fun but maybe i’m in denial. I think the graphics should be better. it’s a beautiful game don’t get me wrong but red dead 2 came out 2 years ago and this game looks worse. not by an incredible amount...but games these days should be just as good if not better. i don’t like how they label world events on the map. red dead wouldn’t label small things so you could find them. when valhalla labels everything it makes every other area with no label seem barren. maybe that’s just me. although it feels somewhat clunky i think the combat is difficult and requires some getting use to. that’s a +. i’m not sure what to say. i don’t think it’s bad, i don’t think it’s amazing. it’s fine. it’s a fine game. maybe my opinion will change later.
