This movie is multilayered in it's story and it's message about what we want, what we need, and what we assume. Sometimes people get so occupied looking for or creating the deeper meanings that we forget or disregard the simplicity-sometimes things are just what they are. The human need for complication and drama often blinds us to the fact that we're moving too fast to see the picture. This movie, and Mr. Seller's portrayal of Chance, is a good reminder to be quiet, to listen, and to learn how to really see.
