Hats off to the producers for daring to introduce such a theme to the Indian audience. No crime, no masala, no seducing scenes, no glamourous stars, the only fight sequences involved a humble rat. Yet, there was a tinge of innocence and freshness in the way the story unfolded. The common man could identify with the characters that neither lived in slums nor palaces. It was heartwarming to sense the theme of universal love through the rat menace, realistic or not.
