A brutal film; the torture scenes were hard to watch especially the water hose in his mouth. Japanese brutality toward POWs has been well documented so no surprises there. The ending surprised me with Eric going from feelings of revenge to forgiveness. I’m not a big movie fan so I don’t want to nitpick details. Overall I would say this is a great film and NK was excellent in her limited role. Five stars for me.
