I thought the movie was very good for the most part. It had a lot of heart and made me tear me multiple times throughout the movie. If you've like James Gunn's other work then you're not going to be disappointed with this one either. My only compliant is that some of the action sequences are drawn out but that's because I would take good written over good action sequences any day of the week.

A beautiful, poorly written show. It's a decent fantasy show but a poor LOTR show.

Someone told me about this movie years ago. I forgot who but I finally got around to watching it and it is ridiculously awesome!! Both ridiculous and awesome! Did you catch the metaphor with the train going through all the countries on the map? The train symbolizing every country's society. Everyone has their role to play to keep society moving forward. Without society, we are essentially animals (represented by the polar bear at the end).

I loved this movie! This is a great movie to teach kids that we all have super powers: we have the power of LOVE, working together and leading by example. Believe in yourself and by working together, we can "solve the world's problems" and each generation is smarter than the last. It's a cute cheesy kids movie with lots of positives messages for both children and adults. I also want to add that as an Asian guy, I really appreciated the diversity of the cast and inclusion of an Asian father and son which made me reflect on my relationship with my dad. The scene where the alien underestimate the Asian kid was especially awesome because I always feel like people underestimate me too.

*No spoilers* It was a good fan service film but not great movie. Infinity War was a much better film in that it was gripping, tense and unpredictable. Endgame had a big issue with tone, it didn't really seem to know if it wanted to be taken seriously or if it wanted to be a comedy. Between all the usual Marvel one-liners, all of the cameos, cheesy plot and plot holes, the movie felt very shallow and predictable. Like it for what it is, a fan service film to send the trilogy off but not for a gripping, deep story.
