Painful watch as it's so clearly biased to try to say he's innocent. It doesn't go into any of the facts as to why the police were looking so hard at Scott, or the evidence they had to convict him. The investigation into him was good police work, the trial however certainly fell down, but when the facts are presented it's quite clear who did it and why he was convicted.

Brilliant show, heartbreakingly good.

I watched the original film all the time when I was little. Absolutely loved it! The grand high witch was terrifying, and the little girl who was placed into the picture - heartbreaking! This version just makes light of it all and there's no suspence or fear. It's not a bad film, but it's just not that good either. If this was the only film version I'm sure I would rate it higher. But as there is a far superior version out there, I would recommend you skip this one.

The visuals for the show look great. The cast are all brilliant actors so you believe them in their roles. But the plot is just really dull. So far, nothing has really happened and I'm half way through season two. Well that's a lie, stuff has obviously happened but you struggle to give a hoot about any of it. I'm self isolating and I have ran out of shows to watch otherwise I would have given up on this a long time ago. They have clearly spent a lot on the production and there's going to be a third season, so fingers crossed they put some spice into the show. It's in desperate need of some real drama, or a bit of peril. Just anything to liven it up.

Incredible show, cast, script, everything! They have taken a classic coming of age fantasy tale and made it relatable. It's really brilliant and I can't recommend it highly enough. Gutted it was cancelled after one season but don't let that put you off watching it.

It's not a bad show, but it's really not very good either. It's just 'meh'... I lasted until about halfway through the first season when I finally gave in and realised it was only ever going to be 'meh'. To sum it up, the characters are trying to be edgey real people, when infact they're just really boring. You don't care or get invested in anything that's going on with them because they're so self absorbed, dull and verging on annoying. Some of the side characters seem like they would be interesting but so far there haven't been any subplots for them, which just feels like lazy writing. To be perfectly honest, If I wasn't stuck in lockdown I wouldn't have given this show the amount of time I already have done.

I don't understand how they could make a great original and magical plot so boring. Either stick to the book or skip this movie and watch the 1993 version instead. Best advice is to just pretend this was never made.
