The representation of Nigerians and their culture in the Nigerian characters on the show can be seen as misrepresentative. The character of Abishola is often portrayed as excessively self-centered, resembling a Nigerian version of Sheldon from another popular TV show. Additionally, there are concerns regarding the lack of significant growth and development for certain characters throughout the series.

One of the worst movies ever it's not even funny. I laughed only once during the the whole season. When I saw the trailer I was like wow this is going to be funny, phew 🤧 little did I know I was getting myself into 4 hours of bad and unfunny writing. Also knowing Natasha from orange is the new black I thought I was going to see a different side of her but NOOOOooo 😒her character portrayal is just like that in orange is the new black, no little or slight difference apart from the fact that she is straight in this on. But I have to commend her anyways, writing is not that easy as people think, at least she tried but I believe she can do better next time because this was wack. I'd recommend you don't waste your time to watch this but, if you still want to watch don't say I didn't warn you.😎
