Just watched the movie, and oh boy.
Really the only thing going for was it's star-studded cast (to be fair, most of these roles were landed by people who hadn't yet become well heard of ie: Brie Larson, Logan Lerman, and Clark Gregg). I find it kind of sad i was more interested in figuring out who was who in the cast than the actual movie itself.
The movie reeks of early 2000's since it had been made in 2006, but that what horribly dates itself. The fonts were all very silly and to look at and the quality of the film made some of it hard to read.
There were two very cool cameos, with Jimmy Buffett playing Mr. Ryan the science teacher, and Carl Hiassen himself playing Felix, Muckle's assistant.
With subpar acting and a really cheesy ending, I would recommend to skip this one if you aren't prepared to be blasted back into the early 2000s.
