Binge Watched this anthology series, 4 stories of 4 hours showing 4 different addictions of men viz, revenge, ego, betrayal & envy.This is a tribute to legendary Satyajit Ray. Out of the 4, HUNGAMA HAI KYU BARPA( the one with Manoj Bajpai & Gajraj Rao, dir by Abhishek Chobey) is my favorite coz of its nuanced language (Urdu), steller performances of its cast ;the story set up in train is gripping till the end! BAHRUPIYA has strong acting performance by Kay Kay Menon but has a predictable story line. FORGET ME NOT (the one with Ali Fazal) is technically sound with amazing shots of Mumbai and a cinematically brilliant climax. SPOTLIGHT(starring Harshvardhan Kapoor) requires too much attention and suffers from its long length. If you are a cinephile you won't regret spending your 4 hours. If you don't have much time, just watch HUNGAMA HAI KYU BARPA !!!
