Great movie and insights into mental illness, intergenerational trauma and the systematic wheel that keeps it all spining. It was very accurate in convaying abuse and neglect and very relatable if you are someone who has experienced trauma. Great cinematography and acting but does require some critical thinking. Loved it.

Production quality is decent and cool premise but that was undershadowed by the glaring issues with the rest of the movie. Terrible communication skills from the parents and adults. The kid had some definite school shooter vibes and really annoying motives. There were alot of toxic messages like punish the women that reject you and 'the birds & bees' talk that had me cringe into a ball. Overall, pretty bad and could have been wrapped up in one movie but they had to leave it open for a sequal. To its credit and for one of the stars- decent on screen deaths but again lacking where there was opportunity for some sick gruesome gore.
