Thoroughly impressed with the concerted efforts put in by mr Dipankar Aron on writing a well researched book :On TheTrail of Buddha :A journey to the East. Painstaking efforts of 11 years followed by coalating the material and putting it together has made the book a readers delight . Very lucidly written narratives and a must read book for people interested in travel, history and Buddhism. All in all the book is an outstanding account of belief system, philosophy and tradition of countries ranging from India,China, Mangolia , Korea and Japan. The author has connected all the dots beautifully.
