The movie remedies the empty unsatisfied feeling left by the theatrical release. The lack of consequence by visually disappointing antagonist Steppenwolf, is replaced by a terrifying villain who is still just a pawn. This assures the audience there is a very real danger worth investing your emotions in. All over a great film that the executives at WB should be kicking themselves for not standing behind.
