I loved the Twilight series, with the exception of Breaking Dawn— but that’s another review. Midnight Sun did not disappoint. Stephenie Meyer is a master at character studies. Each of her characters have their own unique perspectives and I enjoy seeing things from “another side.” I think Edward’s side may be my favorite because of the constant battle he has with himself —whether to control or give in to his temptations. The book made me think a lot about the value of controlling our own behaviors, and about how our personal narratives help or hurt us. It was a deliciously fun experience!
