Super disappointed. I love the books, but this movie was BAD. Was on pace to be one of the worst movies I've ever seen for the first 3/4. Slow development and corny writing. The shoehorning of modern politics surrounding COVID distracted from the actual story... The ending was mildly entertaining so I bumped it up to 2 stars.

Had some potential. A unique take on the werewolf story, though nothing groundbreaking. But the ending was so weak and bad it ruined what otherwise was an ok movie

The first season was great. Interesting science and very aspirational.
The second season is unbearable political activism, using the colonization of Mars as a foil for environmental extremism. Tons of interviews with Greenpeace leaders with non from industrial leaders, evil mining corporations, the whole environmental activist buffet.
Watch the first season, but do yourself a favor and skip the second one.
