At this point of time I am only up to book 2 and I am so surprised by how good this show is! I knew this show was good but I was blown away. If anyone is in the mood to binge a show Avatar the last air bender is a definite watch. When I am finish with the show I will come back and edit this review to include my thoughts on the rest of the show =) SOME MINOR SPOILERS↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓
OK I am back the show was way better than my original expectations, It completely blown it out of the water and original I was still expecting a lot. The show is not too long but too short but should anyone should be able to finish it like a week (depending on your schedule). Some of the shows strong points in my opinion is the fight scenes, The action fighting scenes are really top notch and the bending made the fighting feel smooth. The whole bending stuff was probably the only reason why I decided to watch it in the first place and I am so happy I decided to keep watching it. The bending just adds so much to the story and the characters actually use it in smart ways like how one of the characters (who is a water bender) helping the main cast uses blood bending to control other peoples bodies to manipulate them in to prison cells to rot to death. There are people who can't bend or manipulate things but instead of them being cast aside they are actually used in special ways that actually help the plot progress and help other characters. My because favourite example of a non bending character is Sokka. At first he is more of a comic relief type character at the start but he slowly turns in to a smart warrior who uses his surroundings and his weapons in special ways to his advantage. My favourite thing about Sokka is that he isn't just a comic relief character but that HE IS AN ACTUAL CHARACTER. The one thing that sort of bugs me in some films and tvs shows is that they show off a character to be nothing but a comic relief character and nothing else and at first when we first meet Sokka I thought he would just be another funny comic relief but the creators slowly turn him into a good warrior with some elements of comic relief. Now to move on to the onw negative I have with this show. The one big issue I have is well some characters are introduced near the end to be a big help but we barely get to see them help and it kind of made me kind of sad not being able to see Haru earth bend to help out the main cast or teo flying in with his wheel chair glider thingy to help the heros out.
IN CONCLUSION the show is really well paced and has a nice story and gets a 4.9 stars from me because of the ending characters.
