I'm in agreement with all those who say the series went off the rails at episode 4. One rule in screenwriting that was broken was that a scene should rarely be longer than two minutes in length. Some of the 2 person conversation scene went way longer and were down right boring. They provided very little insight into the convoluted story line made worst by too many flashbacks, another screenwriting rule broken. I didn't like John Lithgow being a whiny baby throughout.
