Watched the movie Drishyam 2. When these kind of series or sequel movies are released it’s natural to make a comparison and I find this as an average or below.
What I liked and whom :-
01. Mohanlal, Ansiba and Esther did an OK job and nothing worth mentioning as they appeared normal.
02. Much more vibrancy was expected from MuraliGopi but failed to deliver what his actual caliber is.
03. Asha, Sidique and Meena was way too dramatic in their presentation and felt like stage play
4. All the introduced mimicry artists like Sumesh, Ajith etc failed to deliver even their common natural performance.
Now coming to the mystery:-
(Those who haven’t watched it yet, I request you to not read further as it might become a spoiler)
01. As this case is highly sensitive and of utmost importance the police officer would have made sure that the bone samples reached Trivandrum or some other better place. He would have also kept an extra police security for the same.
02. The police took 2+ years to plant 2 policemen new Gkuttys house but they failed to shadow him in the last 2 years or more.
3. Any equipment requires some kind of power to work. The mic/s installed in the room of Gkutty works for years without any power source. I mean battery doesn’t drain, no wires attached, no solar 😀.
4. The time taken for Gkutty to get in relationship with a person in cemetery was considerably high and the DNA specialists would have identified the time of death of that bone which would have been minimum a year or more later than the original one.
5. The sealed bones was just felt with the guy who takes care of the mortuary which is hard to believe and that too in his office without any security.
The above only a very few major faults that I found while watching. I request all such serious film makers not to please test the sense of common man without giving logic and rational answers.
You can make fils like CID moosa, Pulivaal Kalyanem and so on where no logic or no sense is applicable but when it comes to handling serious matters let’s be more considerate to common mans hard earned money.
Thanks for reading
