I think this drama has raised the standards of my kdramas so much, for me at least. I hope everyone gives this show a chance because you'll discover how good of a show this is, when it pays attention to the smallest of details. Pulling you in with its first episode to the last giving you the most satisfactory ending that you cry not because you got a sad or abrupt ending because you're sad it's ending and very happily at that. The characters in the show pull you in as they've their own story to tell and you can't help but frrl for them. The character development in this show is phenomenal and natural that you'll love how satisfying it is. Kim Soo Hyun chose the best post military drama and even portrayed it so well that I'm in awe and now an honest fan of his. Him crying made me cry, him smiling made me smile and he made the character his own this way because I can't imagine anyone doing such a great job at it than him. Seo Yea Ji blew me away with her portrayal of Ko Mun Young, she literally made that character her own too from the beginning and her acting was so good I was surprised because I've only seen her in moorim school. Her crying was the most heartbreaking thing because it wasn't even her fault yet there she was tearing my heart away. Oh Jung Se, what do I even say about this man he stole the show at the end with his phenomenal acting. Being a person with face blindness yet acting as a autistic with spectrum disorder and the way he showed his emotions my god give him all the awards! I hope this show wins big at award shows because it deserves. Best acting to best director to best script. This is by far the best kdrama I have ever seen. Nothing can top this.

This drama is slow paced. You have to get that in your head before you want to watch a fast paced one. To the contrary though I felt like it was moving at its own pace teaching me things that maybe my parents haven't taught me at all. The silence in this story carries its own words and plentiful meanings. I've not seen one character in this story that don't have the most beautiful lessons to teach the viewers. The leads have far way to go to be okay with the events of their live. But isn't it living after all going through those hardships and still making it out together? What the male lead said though stuck with me and maybe will for a while. He said that when she said that people do stupid things in love. He said.. Then dont love.. Don't feel happy. Happiness and sadness are two sides of a coin. But if you don't feel happy then you won't feel the sadness either.. It broke my heart that he'd think that he's afraid to be happy to hold on to things because he fears one day it'd go away.. Each character is so special that i can't list all of them in one review so this is the one which struck me the most. Overall... This is a must watch. It just isn't a drama but a lesson for all of us who're going through tough times.i hope it goes well for you 💕
