used to play FF back on PS2 days... Now just got to spent some time with this chapter 7...
Absolutely pathetic combat and overall character control. This is how games used to work back in early 90s. Weird timing for many cut scenes, 50% of which bring absolutely ZERO meaning and/or advance narrative.
How is this game get 4.5 out 5???
At it's best it is 3/5

Overall it is SOLID 2/5

Great story but horrible directing.
Unnecessary cuts combine with below mediocre acting of more than one character.
Overall this movie isn't lacking in budget nor of its story, rather below average story telling skills of the director Gina Prince-Bythewood and screen play writer Greg Rucka. Too many overly dramatic scenes which will work great in a game rather than the movie.
I just really wished there was more mature director finishing the final cut.
As is it's just really really immature directing.
Very sad.
Overall it's 5/10
