Yes, the plot inspired from the oscar nominated movie knives out, but it has different story to tell though the screenplay is quite same. If you haven't watched knives out then it is going to give you all the excitement and thrills, because of acting this is a decent watch. If you have watched knives out dont worry about it, you will like it bcs of the intriguing screenplay and the characters built during the movie.
