This is nothing like the book. Felt so rushed. No time to develop attachments to the characters like you did in the book. It felt like this movie and this book were 2 different stories.

It was definitely gripping and had a few jump scares but the first 2 were easier to follow, didn’t leave me off with as many questions, and had more to do with demonic possessions, whereas this one was more about witchcraft and curses.
