After the Gladiator epic, the first movie, Gladiator II is a disappointment. If you haven't watched the first part, it could be ok, but not after watching the first part. Filmmakers should realise that the second part of any movie should much better, greater than the first one as the expectations are very high. Personally, I did not feel connected to any character. The protagonist does not establish much emotional attachment to any other character that we feel the absence of them, or the demise of them, since the script does not offer much to the establishment of such feelings. The antagonists do not pose so much personal threat to the hero, or to others, as was there in the original movie, and so do not build the hatred or anger in the audience. In short, as long as the characters do not build proper friction or attachment that the audience can share and relate, the story cannot be felt by the audience.

One of the worst movies I have ever watched. Screenplay is made up of some absurd scenes. Unwatchable in short. You wait and wait for something, however, nothing happens. Just a parody of a movie even for third rate actors. I felt like watching an elementary school skit.

Watched the movie today. I would say that the movie could satisfy the Kerala audience with 40% of its run time, the 60% being dragging. It begins with some thrill, however the tempo could not be kept for the whole movie, thrilling or romantic. Some scenes , like many others, like the ones with the chit chat with the grandpa is longer than needed, and leads to boredom. Mallu movies need to find an alternative to fitting song scenes for lapse time, or make sure the songs are watchable. The movie is like you have some things to show to get into the audience, but you dont know what to do with the rest of the time. Also, mallu movies need to learn the technology to shoot night scenes realistically; horribles night scenes, especially in a movie in which night is a very important factor.( Encountered the same situation in Kayamkulam Kuchunni as well.) When is Mallu producers going to realise that the screenplay needs to be the backbone of the movie? Please pay importance to screenplay...and let the writers take more time to get the plot matured.If not for Mohanlal, how many would watch it at the cinema?!! When you try to weave reality and fantasy together, let reality be reality though fantasy could have both. ( The opening scene is supposed to be real, I hope).

Compared to the first part, I found this movie quite disappointing. If I had started without the first part in mind, I wouldn't have even watched it after 30 minutes. The build up in the beginning imitated old drama style dialogues, and there wasnt a single moment that you could say moving for at least an hour. The thrill-mystery part is mostly narrative. Many scenes do not hold any meaning. Meena was a total disappointment. The song ore pakal, though untimely, was good to listen to.

Had expected a lot, but the movie miserably failed. A very loose script that is illogically knit, and the 'thrill' never reached the audience. Felt like a long, tedious journey, with no scenes around. The only 'drama' felt should have been only for the writer and the director. The cinemas that filled the first day for all show were almost empty even the second day.

It's the worst of all Expendables: very weak script, sub-standard dialogues, feeble character build up. Stallone can probably wash his hands saying, ' I am not in it, mostly'! It could do well as a parody of super action movies where one may want to make fun of the genre.

It has no method, but madness. Poorly made up screenplay, action-thriller scenes do not create any excitement. The comic elements imposed is tragic. Thought it would be an improvement on the first one, but failed. A waste of WB money, and ours!

Well directed. However, it was quite dragging, and less engaging. Felt like sleeping.
