First of all this show was a hit I started watching this since it began to air back in 2015 I adored the acting and the plot ( knowing I'm a DC fan ) and having to see how an angel can interact and learn to lead a "normal" human life was fun. SPOILERS AHEAD ! If this show stopped at the first half of the season five I would have gladly gave it 5 stars But the last half of the last season was a disaster. I felt like the writers had to end it in a hurry besides the fact that "GOD" didn't answer any of our questions and unsolved puzzles like why was the detective a gift, why lucifer was vulnerable when she was around etc Why didn't we get to see a display of his powers ? he was just rumbling on and on about how everything works in a mysterious way and everyone seemed to be okay with that even lucifer changed his attitude for no good reason For those who watched SUPERNATURAL the dialogues between GOD and LUCIFER were astonishing and well scripted But in lucifer god just came did some dumb stuff and left forever without solving any thing. We only got a happy normal ending with no creativity and a brief one.

I like to think of this show as a bad imitation of "The Walking Dead" and "The Last Ship" combined with bad plot and acting. This show had a lot of potentiel . and it started well then the plot wholes started to show like how rasmus didn't transform in the banker how they showed us a dead deer in the second episode saying it was from the poisoned water but in the first episode a deer licked simone when she got out How come an entire forest does not have food in it .. even animals and if you say that they're poisoned then how did hundred to not say thousands managed to stay out alive eating god knows what ? how did simone learn genetics in one nights ( i mean that made me make a long pause to absorb the fact that whoever wrote this was high .. ) And let's not forget the most cliché yet existing problem of all modern tv shows if you must kill someone and save the ENTIRE world just do it ffs. don't bargin with other people lives. I think that what most sane and rational people will do. and let's not get to how can you hack a laptop cam which you can't know anything about it in an era with no internet connection and then get it location hahaha or the fact that the father handed a paper in plain sight and no one noticed it ? or since when whiskey ken burn that much ? I hope producers see this and consider my opinion before making season 3 you can still save this show. EDIT : the show was not saved. I hope someone can get the idea and do a remake. I gave an extra star just for the original idea.
