Kind of a mixed review on this one. The movie is beautiful and fun. The characters were great, for the most part, and I enjoyed the music. Definitely kept my family engaged.
With all of that said, I don't exactly know where they were going with this movie. My take was that there was a family matriarch that cared MUCH more about how her family looked than the actual members of the family. And the main character of the movie actually apologizes to this horrid woman for finally sticking up for herself. If that was the point of the movie, Disney hit it on the head 100%, but I think they actually try to forgive the matriarch's behavior. This left quite the bad taste in my mouth.
The movie was good, but would have been better if the grandmother apologized at the end instead of the movie just making excuses for her and moving on.
