Best cast overall of any Karenina productions. But on stage/off stage presentation is confusing and, in the end, doesn't work. Then again, I watched it three times, mostly due to the brilliance of the acting. The scene between Kostya and Kitty is not only better than any other Karenina production, but better than any other movie I've seen.
