So, I have a problem with the logic in this show. They say it is an experiment in, basically, an arranged marriage and whether or not 'experts' can pair people who are likely to succeed in their commitment. Firstly, there appears to be little or no commitment from many of the contestants and I would recommend that they coach applicants on the whole concept of marriage before accepting them into the show. Secondly, where did the 'experts' find so many people with low morals and lack of compassion? What kind of an expert selects liars and people of sadistic intent to put into an experimental relationship? Lastly, the logic has finally reached a whole new level of ridiculous when they are allowing a couple who have cheated and lied behind their marriage partners backs to continue in the experiment. The rationalisation given was nonsense; that the show is about an 'experiment' but, they have broken their own rules in the show, rules that they enforce upon other contestants. The rule is simple; each week there is a commitment ceremony - if one person writes stay, both members of the couple must stay, if both write leave, the couple must leave. Yet tonight, they are allowing two people who were in a leaving couple to stay. That makes NO SENSE at all and is completely inconsistent with the enforcing of one participant to stay against his will for the preceding 3 weeks. This is a blatant exploitation of sensationalism in order to boost ratings. I am appalled. I liked this show because it wasn't a dating show or bachelor island etc. This was an interesting show about people dedicated to finding love despite challenges and exploring ways of interacting with one another to find the love within the relationship. It was psychological and social and showed couples trying to work out communication issues etc. Now it just feels like a cheap and very nasty sell out. Sorry but... I'm writing LEAVE!
