The only words for the newest season of Cobra Kai are: Wow. I cannot believe the twists and turns the directors decided to put into this season/series. I have watched the Karate Kid movies too many times to count. Every time I see some sort of Karate Kid media, it gets me really hyped and emotional. I can't explain how great it is to get more content 34 years later. Please don't ever stop this series, and keep making it what the fans need.
Spoilers:
- I absolutely loved the 6th episode with the reunion of O.G. Cobra Kai. It was so cool to see Dutch, Bobby, Tommy, etc get back together again. It was heart-wrenching to see Tommy die and be put into a body bag (Karma)
- I'm not sure where I am at between Cobra Kai and Myagi-Do. I can't determine a clear definite dojo that is better. Both have their Positives and flaws, and each shine bright.
- Miguel has been an on-the-fence character for me. I can't decide if I enjoy him or not. It seems like every 3 episodes, he is changing. I was honestly depressed when Robby gave into his anger, and killed/disabled Miguel. It wasn't like him, and I really appreciated Miguel for being the bigger man.
- I was sure that Ali with an "I" would show up in an episode, but it didn't happen. The ending scene with Johnny on the beach really struck hard. The entire rivalry of the Karate Kid saga happened on the beach, and Johnny lashed out on Ali. This time around, Johnny lashed out before knowing that Ali was trying to get in touch.
I can't express how much I want/need a season 3 to this show. Everything that has happened needs ending. In my opinion, I think that Daniel and Johnny will team up to take down Kreese's Cobra Kai. The cameos that still need to happen are Terry Silver, Mike Barnes, Ali, and Chozen. If we can get an ending and these people in season three, I can't imagine anything better.
