The movie lacks the excitement and wonder that the original trilogy had and fails at drawing people in with all the nostalgia and callbacks to the previous films. Not seeing this film would keep the story arc of the original trilogy strong. The only real character connections are to Neo and Trinity, and the movie doesn't create enough moments for attachments to the new characters to solidify. I wish I didn't see this film.
