Update- Spoilers So this game is very fun to play and it improves on everything that Last us 1. It is the story line that almost ruins it, I found myself very angry playing this game, while I did enjoy the gameplay as stated I could not get all the bad story writing out of my mind. My biggest issue was killing Joel obviously, he did do a lot of bad things and yes had it coming if you go by what goes around comes around/karma kind of thinking, but the way it happens pissed me off. He has obviously changed and become a better man in the years he has been apart of the community and a lot more trusting, the old joel would have left abby to die when he met her, but this joel decides to save her AND go with her back to where she was staying. The previous Joel we knew would not do either of this. So we have Joel doing the right thing and then he gets killed for it. My other issue was random people dying throughout and not warranting proper responses like when abbys friend manny dies, she barely reacts. Yes a lot is happening at the moment, but we do not hear anything about it after. The other thing was the asian guy getting shot in the face, no one comments on it haha. The ending pissed me off to, what was the whole point. The whole you killed my dad so I kill you should have applied to Ellie too, Joel was like her father after all. The story writers nailed Part 1 and fd this up REALLY bad.
