No character development, no performances, bad acting, horrible dialogue that seems like it almost consists of the same words repeated over and over again, extremely rushed plot and overall a very boring experience. The movie could've been a lot better but it seemed like it was so rushed that it didn't even seem like it had much effort put into it except in some fight scenes which also weren't that good. The movie might seem like a good option for a 10-12 year old but other than that it'd be very boring. The movie seems centered about only one character which is Mulan, that's why most scenes might seem repeated, No one else in the movie seemed important in fact some characters barely said anything while they appeared in a lot of scenes. Also a Phoenix wasn't a good idea, It might've been if it only appeared at the beginning to show that it was guiding Mulan to her true destiny and at the end to show that Mulan has successfully discovered her destiny and her personality as an individual as well other than that it seemed like more scenes in attempt to increase the length of the movie. So not only did the movie seem rushed, it also seemed rushed with a lot of unnecessary scenes that did absolutely nothing to serve the plot, even the fight scenes seemed very rushed that you'd barely notice when it had started and when it had ended. And yes, I did watch the movie and I had high hopes that it was going to be the greatest movie of the year but sadly it was a huge disappointment, as I grew up watching Disney movies and I love Mulan very much so to see a movie about the character that inspired me as a kid get ruined like that it truly saddens me...
