At first i was like, ghost don't hurt people but they can be aggressively terrifying when they try to scare you by moving things. I knew there was more to it when they started disappearing..So bringing the the ritual ground into it made it a good ending because that's the only way it could have been realistic. They were demons not spirit nor ghost
