Well, I don't know what movie the critics watched, but Underwater, the film I watched, was alive with gloom, dripping with doom, and even threw in 2 solid booms, in only 95 minutes. Had 2 solid jump scares, but I'm sure those critics never saw a movie monster, taking place on earth, carry an entire ecosystem on its skin. Clearly, the critics were wrong; or perhaps they need to watch this movie alone, and in the pitch-dark again.
