I’ve played a horrendous number of different RPG/JRPGs over the years and I came to the trails series late, after thoroughly playing all of them I just feel depressed that I have to wait for anything further. The story is so engrossing, the world building and characters personalities are exceptional, the lore is some of the best I’ve seen. Sure the series all start off quite slowly but they sure build up fast. Turn based combat might not be for everybody but I think it works here perfectly. It’s been years since I have been emotionally invested in a game and this certainly has. Recommend to anyone for an amazing journey, play them chronologically!!

I’ve been a long time fan of the FE series after borrowing the binding blade years ago from a friend. I’ve always loved the games but just found them too short. Or maybe I just wanted more and more of it. Three houses is what I have been looking for after all these years. There is so much variety and different ways to play this game it is incredible. I’ve managed to put over 100 hours in and only completed 3 routes and haven’t touched the DLC yet. The story is brilliant, the gameplay and overall mechanics are just too enticing to only play through once! This is the first fire emblem game where you can really see the development of characters and I can’t describe how it connects with players. Fantastic game and I hopefully we won’t have to wait for the next instalment! I just hope it follows this stepping stone!

Was really disheartened that this was only a portion of the game!!!! However what a job they have done. I love the new combat system and the gear upgrade etc. Simply amazing. Feels like what FFXV should have been! Great blend of modern gameplay with the same classic story just fleshed out! Hopefully next parts aren’t too long of a wait! Will definitely pre order those as well!
