Absolutely exceeded my expectations. It's an injustice to give it a 7/10 and even an injustice to give it an 8/10. Incredibly realistic and not only the best war movie I've ever seen but the most gruesome. To top that the cast is stacked and shows some of the best acting I've ever seen. Steven Price is the composer for the soundtrack and not to mention, he was already my favorite composer; he does not fail to disappoint with the incredible soundtrack for this movie. The story line is incredible, brutal, and real— it had me in tears and captivated and moved me like no other movie I can think in recent years. It reaches its max potential in just about every category. It is a far too under appreciated and the only way I myself can show it some justice is to recommend it to whoever is reading this and strongly suggest that you give it a chance and watch the whole thing through.

This movie is overall good. The sci-fi, the world, the set up, the plot, even the events that take place in the movie are good. The story is really good, it’s just not executed properly. The dialogue wasn’t very good and it has a lot of cliche moments, like you could predict what would happen next because of how cliche some of the dialogue was. It just needs a better director, or to give the director more respect better directing. I don’t know, I would watch it I love it and would definitely pay money to see another one. It just feels like I’m watching a Bugatti with a bad driver or a terrible coach of a super team. It’s so headed in the right direction. Get Tarantino or somebody, there is plenty of potential met it just has so much more.

This movie is so incredibly good, it’s arguably the greatest movie of all time. I’m not joking when I say that. It’s simple, like the office, and people claim that is the greatest show of all time. Except this gets kinda real and hits at deeper themes too. And if you’re a fan of the show then you appreciate and care deeply about spongebob Patrick and the rest of bikini bottom and you will love this movie so much more because of the slight depth it goes into with the characters and the stakes of the circumstances in the movie.
