Netflix title card said "blend of Gray man, meets John wick" and i've never been so let down. Tons of great cia spy thrillers out there, but this one had a confusing as heck story and some weird points throughout. Wish i could have that time back.

It felt like the whole plot was crumbling apart from start to finish. Needed a super average joe to infiltrate spy world. Whole spy world discovers average joe and his real identity within minutes of meeting him. Definitely worth it if youre bored and need to see some halle berry or wahlberg bullshit, otherwise leave this for the rainy day pile when youre 3 glasses deep. Great actors, poor story.

Its not like.. the worst movie? But im very happy I didnt pay for it. Most military-style domestic action flicks usually have some semblance of tactics/training-- but Alba didnt really do any of that. (Stands out in the open with a large explosion occuring, back to enemies while moving, etc.) Acting throughout was a bit rough, but again-- NOT the worst movie.

The villain seemed like he was cut right from some evil dialogue cartoon or something. "I pay you good money, do the thing" Almost would have preferred the cassie/Ben roles in a tv show about some psychic ambulance whack job instead of this nonsense.

Boy, am I glad Elon musk threatened WB to keep amber heard on board. She really brought so much to the table in this movie (lol she was just there for CGI effects, otherwise useless) The overall journey portrayed in the movie felt a lot like the first, but clearly they skipped over some obvious plot issues to satisfy screen time reqs. Didnt even pay for the movie and I still want a refund.

If you try to hold it against original, itll feel clunky and weird-- but still better than that movie from years ago. All the bending CGI is clearly done on green screens, because all water-benders are looking NOT at what they're doing, but juuuuuust slightly off-course to some pre-ordained cue card. Its very distracting once you notice it, (sorry if i made you notice it, thats my B) Characters are all seemingly rushed, and the actors are trying real hard to emulate their designated role.. but its just weird. They FLY through the "fire nation killed the air benders" nonsense, and skipped the avatar test stuff for all who care-- they just kind of finger point aang into power based on his physical/bending prowess. Idk man, ill chew on it some more later, but count me out of season 2.

It certainly wasnt as bad as all the hate would indicate, but ultimately the movie was still meh, at best. Will try watching again in the future if superhero fatigue wears off.

Well put together. Its rather repetitive, as all movies in the genre tend to be story wise, but drives you forward nonetheless wrapped up in an action packed ride! I think Stephen and Robvie did a phenomenal job on the film, and look forward to seeing future works!

I went in with the expectations of this being similar, or within the same psychological realm of hereditary, and was let down. Its not necessarily a bad movie, and I am sure many people will love it. Im just unfortunately not one of those people, and that's okay!
