A big fan of the series... this movie stunk. What a waste of a good evening and a waste of money. I don’t think I will have any motivation to watch the series if they should continue. The whole premise, staged and unlikely, the plot,... unreasonable, the Downton cast members... polished with wax and presented as shiny trinkets. The celebration of an unlikely counter culture in that period... overplayed. What a ghastly failure! I stayed with the film until the bitter end. A cold reception from the audience. A dismal failure an a huge huge disappointment!
