This was amazing! I have become sort of a Christmas Carol aficionado, having seen just about every adaptation of the Dickens novel on film and television. I am especially fond of the Alistair Sim version, but I also especially enjoy Albert Finney's portrayal, but this version was over the top! Just about every contemporary issue was depicted in some form; in some cases implied rather than overt. I especially appreciated that rather than the usual "gooey" tear-jerking ending, we are left with this enigmatic conclusion and wondering if there will be a sequel. I gave this five stars because it was exceptionally well done, and I recommend that everyone who has ever seen any version of A Christmas Carol, see this one.
