Dear Fareed Without sounding patronizing; I admire your level of intelligence, your reporting style that borders on respect. However I just read this article and its headlines 'Gaming Out the US-Iran Standoff' and feel that its too far fetched and unreal! The only one in that regime I respect & believe is the Iranian Foreign Minister Mr. Mohammad Javad Zarif who in a recent meeting at the EU & the press stated that .... ' what do you expect us to do? Iran has to protect itself and its what we are doing and is not as an act of aggression that World powers profess. Lets face it, forget us in USA, if Israel wishes, do you not think they can not wipe off the Republic of Iran in one clean swipe? So instead of pushing panic buttons, let our President do what he does best, tweet threats, scare the hell out of the aggression and then ask for cooperation. That is his style, and it sure is working! In ending, I believe that until President Trump came in our scenario, our Government's modus operandi has been to talk and mediate. His style is tweet and bash and then go over, shake hands and get what he wanted anyway. I am an Indian American and proud to say that I love this country which is the last Bastion of Freedom. So Fareed, you and the media need to salvage our losses and instead push for a joint partisan move to save our position as the Global strength that we are and NOT WERE!
